Plumbing Gas Lines & Gas Valves is Serious Business

Did you know the Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) is the authority having jurisdiction for the propane industry in Texas? A plumber can run gas lines and add gas valves. However, a plumber is required to have additional licensing and insurance in accordance with the state. If you are working with a plumber who is not properly licensed with the RRC, you are dealing with a plumber who is not properly licensed to work with gas.

WORKING WITH LP & NATURAL GAS

Working with Liquid Propane (LP) and natural gas can be dangerous. Both are volatile fuels that are governed by the gas code providing safety requirements for the design & installation of fuel gas pipes & systems. We have all heard of the explosions that rocked neighborhoods who didn’t know they had a gas leak. So, working with gas is serious business. Don’t trust your home or business to just any plumber or plumbing company. Trust Duncan Plumbing to properly install, repair or replace propane or natural gas in your home or business.
