How do you repair a broken toilet flange? First, what is a toilet flange?
A toilet flange or also known as a closet flange is what mounts the toilet to the floor and connects the toilet to the drain pipe. The name closet comes from the original term for the bathroom being ‘water closet’ or WC.
If you have a broken toilet flange, problems can quickly multiply. For example, a rocking toilet can crack the wax ring. When the wax seal is broken, you’ll have water leaking from the toilet.
