Michael Duncan

Founder

Duncan Plumbing Solutions was founded by husband and wife team Mike and Erica Duncan. In 2001, Mike came to Waxahachie from Indianapolis with years of plumbing experience. Working his way up at one of the oldest and well-known plumbing companies in Waxahachie, Mike's reputation grew as the best plumber in Waxahachie. People were calling specifically requesting Mike. He realized that he had something special not everyone had. He was a problem solver and people trusted him, not just for his uncanny sense of figuring out solutions to tough plumbing problem—he also possesses a tremendous character and integrity.

Erica Duncan

Founder

Erica graduated from Texas Women’s University with a Bachelor of Science. She worked in chemical IT for 20 years. What I learned working in Corporate America directly translates to managing the plumbing business. Hindsight is 20/20 and I am so blessed to use what I learned in our own company today!

Professional Plumbing Services Since 2011

Starting Duncan Plumbing was natural for Mike but making the leap from the only job I’d known travelling internationally and working from home was harder for Erica. She tells how, "I even took a bible study called "If You Want to Walk on Water, You've Got to Get Out of the Boat (J. Ortbertg)." God often asks us to do what doesn’t make sense. That’s faith!

Since 2011, Duncan Plumbing has grown on prayer and faith. Our goal has always been to build an honest and dependable family-run company that offers solutions.

Mike and Erica have four sons, including a set of identical twins. Mike runs the field side of the business and enjoys fishing and actively involved in recovery addition ministries. Erica manages the office and enjoys cooking and is pursuing a certificate in church leadership.

Employee Spotlight

Meet Mike Duncan

Mike Duncan serves as the CEO & Responsible Master Plumber at Duncan Plumbing. Mike started Duncan Plumbing in 2011 with a desire to bring solutions to tough problems. An engineer at heart, Mike is the go-to guy when it comes to figuring out the tough stuff. His plumbing career started in Indiana and grew to the master title naturally because he is not just a smart guy but he's a great leader. He and Erica have four sons, including a set of identical twins.

Meet Erica Duncan

Erica serves as COO which really means she helps hold the things in the background together. She manages the marketing, scheduling, accounting, and the office. She really enjoys finding ways Duncan Plumbing can give back to the community. She has a degree from Texas Women's University and a certificate in Church Leadership.

Meet Brian Duncan

Brian Duncan is Field Operations Manager here at Duncan Plumbing. Brian comes from an eclectic plumbing background with experience in New Construction Plumbing and Service Plumbing since 2003. He is used to managing teams & large projects. A native of Indiana, Brian has been plumbing since Duncan Plumbing began in 2011. He has 3 beautiful children including the newest member to the Duncan family, Darby Duncan born December 2021.

Meet Amanda

Amanda is the office manager at Duncan Plumbing. She handles the calls, scheduling, marketing, blogging, social media, and accounting to name a few. Her background is in customer service since 2004. A passion for coffee, she also enjoys shooting guns & blowing things up (not in that order). She and Brian have 3 beautiful children, one is new baby ~ Darby Duncan.

Meet Dylan Howell

Dylan has been plumbing for over 2 years and is currently working on his Tradesman Plumbing License. Dylan has been married for 7 years and has a daughter, Eleanor. Dylan enjoys watching sports, shooting guns and playing video games. When he's not figuring out solutions to plumbing problems, you'll find him spending time with his family.

Meet Stephen Pearl

Stephen is a Master Plumber with a Master's Degree from Stephen F. Austin. He has been plumbing from a very young age and has a background in HR and Management. Like the rest of us here, Stephen found his happy place in plumbing! Stephen & his beautiful wife Whitney have two children. When he's not plumbing, Stephen enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, bass fishing & enjoying sports.

Meet Michael Grubbs

Michael has been in the plumbing trade for 15 years. After graduating in 1999, he attended Lincoln Technical School. Before coming onboard with Duncan Plumbing, Michael worked in various plumbing niches including time as a Commercial Foreman running large waste systems in the Plumbing Department servicing the restaurants at DFW. He also has extensive knowledge in kitchen design and installation. He also enjoys tankless water heater systems, installation and service. Michael has 5 children together with his wife Sunni. He loves animals and is also proud papa to 2 dogs, 2 cats, a rabbit and a snake.

Meet Jason Watson

Jason is a Master Plumber with over 25 years of plumbing experience. He holds a specialty certification in TracPipe & CounterStrike, has completed additional OSHA training, has been through Water School, Plumbers Service Essentials and holds LP Certification through the State of Texas. He and his wife have 3 children ranging from 10 to 21.When he's not plumbing or spending time with family, Jason enjoys baseball and fishing. We are happy to have Jason plumbing with the Duncan Plumbing family!
